Meyer talked about envisioning customers wearing a neon sign that says “Make me feel important”. Think about this. Everyone wants to be seen, heard, acknowledged and feel like they are making an impact in their world. Meyer says it is our job to figure out how to make them feel important. “Make me feel important by….” and then fill in the blank. He says “Collect the dots, so you can connect the dots.”
